This 1 day course will cover all aspects of chainsaw safety, handling, maintenance including the six-step felling process of how to properly fell a tree also dealing with trees after they are on the ground limbing and bucking. Some hands-on performing of notching, saw handling and felling will be incorporated.

The Tree Risk Assessment re-Qualification Course is a one-day refresher, with five hours of instruction, and three hours to take the exam. Current TRAQ holders can complete the abbreviated course as early as four years into their qualification.
